Hach employees donate $5,000 to clean water charity

Hach Co. employees recently donated $5,000 to Water For People, and the company has agreed to donate an additional $30,000 worth of products to support Water For People's sustainable clean water and sanitation project in Honduras and a country in Africa.

After passing a significant financial milestone in 2010, Loveland-based Hach offered employees their choice of a commemorative gift or donating the value of the gift to Water For People. A few hundred employees chose the donation option.

"As a water quality analysis company, bringing clean water to people around the world is fundamental to Hach's purpose," said Hach President Lance Reisman. "We're proud of our employees, but not at all surprised by their generosity and support for Water For People."
