2011 was the year for water as a cause. Assuming the premise that
everyone everywhere has the right to clean drinking water, an increasing
number of organizations have been working to establish safe water
systems in developing countries worldwide. Water For People,
for example, brings together local entrepreneurs, governments and
communities to find solutions and, ultimately, end the cycle of poverty. charity:water has funded 4,282 well implementation projects in 19 countries. Keep an eye on these organizations' increasing reach in 2012.
What do you think?

Increasing number of organizations is to attain Mellennium Development Goals if monitoting of the implemented projects is (core) duties of their action plan that helps avoiding duplications, implementing demand-deriven projects, wise use of budget & time, planning new priortized projects, knowing the status of placed schemes, and fair distribution of resources among the poors. DHC is local NGO that works on the area of water supply projects (one of its five years formulated programs) within Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia, and planning to work with the aforesaid Regional GO and FLOW (Field Level Operations Watch) if FLOW extends its interests to Ethiopia. To be frank, too many water supply projects were implemented by many local & international NGOs, GOs and privates, and many projects are undergoing though nothing is known concerning the status of the implemented schemes.
