Are You a Part of Everyone?
June 16, 2011

People can’t change the world, change their community, or even go to school if they spend all of their time walking back and forth to distant, muddy holes carrying up to 40 pounds of water. Water For People is committed to working with you, communities, organizations, businesses, and governments to improve Everyone's access to safe water. Every Family, Every School, Every Clinic.
At the foundation of Everyone is the idea that every person in the districts and municipalities where we work must be supported—rich and poor, easy to reach and hard to reach, politically connected and politically isolated. We believe that building a movement around Everyone will generate real change.
And we have amazing news. We are already seeing this goal materialize in three regions we work including Cuchumuela, Bolivia; two administrative areas within South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India; and Chinda, Honduras. This means every person will have access to water. By 2014, working closely with the Rwandan government, we plan to announce full coverage in Rulindo, Rwanda, a district of 265,000.
To launch the movement of Everyone, we released a new look this week at www.waterforpeople.org . Please also take a moment to watch our new video illustrating Everyone.
