Sin embargo, el 501% de los centros de salud a nivel mundial no cuentan con agua corriente y el 391% no tienen acceso a jab\u00f3n. Ah\u00ed es donde entra Water For People. Construimos sistemas de agua y garantizamos que cl\u00ednicas, escuelas y otras instituciones p\u00fablicas cuenten con agua potable y confiable para mantener a sus comunidades seguras.<\/p>\n\n<p>Garantizar el acceso a agua potable y confiable, e impartir educaci\u00f3n sobre higiene a un centro de salud, le cuesta a Water For People aproximadamente $10,000. Este costo incluye tuber\u00edas, grifos, mano de obra local para la construcci\u00f3n de los sistemas y la garant\u00eda de sostenibilidad. En 2020, identificamos y trabajamos para llegar a 273 centros de salud y otras instituciones p\u00fablicas en nueve pa\u00edses de \u00c1frica, Latinoam\u00e9rica e India. Es la enfermera a cargo de la cl\u00ednica y es responsable de garantizar que todos los miembros de la comunidad que necesiten servicios de salud puedan recibirlos. Thagoni est\u00e1 muy lejos. <\/p>\n<p>Thagoni est\u00e1 tan lejos, tan en lo profundo de las monta\u00f1as y tan dispersa que los programas nacionales de acceso al agua nunca habr\u00edan llegado hasta all\u00ed. Una de las razones por las que pueden so\u00f1ar con ir a la universidad es porque asisten a una escuela con agua potable y saneamiento.
