The National Association of Clean Water Agencies names Water For People as their nonprofit of choice

DENVER, March 1, 2016 — The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) is the leading advocate for responsible policies that advance clean water in the United States. NACWA’s members include over 300 of the nation’s publicly-owned wastewater and stormwater utilities. For over 40 years, NACWA has been at the forefront of legal, policy, and regulatory issues dealing with clean water. NACWA and Water For People share common goals and NACWA has long supported Water For People.

In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Water For People, NACWA wishes to reaffirm and memorialize its commitment to support and collaborate with Water For People. This Memorandum of Understanding will serve to establish Water For People as the Association’s nonprofit organization of choice for philanthropic giving. Among other things, NACWA will promote workplace giving options for Water For People and encourage support by our leaders and members.
