DENVER, April 13, 2018 – Water For People, an international non-profit working to provide lasting quality water and sanitation services, is pleased to announce that its CEO, Eleanor Allen, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Parametrix – an engineering, planning and environmental services firm with offices throughout the western U.S.

Eleanor Allen, PE, BCEE, joins as the seventh member of the Board. Allen’s appointment is a demonstration of the natural synergies between Water For People – a global leader in sustainable water and sanitation solutions – and Parametix, a 100-percent employee-owned firm committed to creating vibrant, sustainable communities for future generations. Both organizations are purpose-driven and dedicated to improving the quality of life for people around the world.

Allen began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic. She then spent nearly 20 years as a consulting engineer with CH2M and ARCADIS before being named CEO for Water For People. Her career took her to all regions of the world, with a strong focus in Latin America where she lived for over half of her professional life. Allen, a former resident of Seattle, WA, currently resides in Denver, CO, with her husband and two children.

Why Don't We Fix Our Site for X Browser?

Essentially, Water For People is a non-profit and we would rather spend money on our causes instead of the very significant amount of money that it would cost us to design and maintain a website that works for legacy, unsupported browsers.
