As some corners of the world gather to talk about Fashion Weeks – from New York to Paris to Milan – at Water For People, we’re also talking about a runway.  It’s the runway that billions of women walk for water.

In some rural regions of India, women can take up to six trips a day walking to collect water, walking 6,570 miles a year. Their walk for water is even more complicated in the face of natural disasters like draughts, floods, or extreme storms.
