What is Water For People's EIN and Tax Status?

Water For People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ID #84-1166148. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

How Do I Change a Recurring Donation?

Do you need to update your credit card, change the amount of your recurring donation, skip a payment, or cancel a recurring gift? Here's how to do it:

Your user name is your email address
If you don’t know your password, just go to the second box “Email me my Password” and put in your email address, and it’ll be emailed to you.

In the Service Center, you can update your credit card info.

If you encounter any problem, or simply prefer to talk with a person, please email admin@water4people.com. We will need you to have your credit card handy if you're just changing details, because we don’t store those for security reasons.

How Can I See a Record of Past Donations?

I Need a Receipt. Can You Send Me One?

Absolutely. Please email admin@water4people.com and we'll create one for you right away. (After every online donation, you should receive a receipt via email, but if there's any problem, feel free to email us.)

How Do I Restrict a Donation to a Country or Region?

Donations of $1000 and above can be designated for a specific Water For People country program. In the donation form, please type country and/or regional designation in the comments field. Contributions of $5,000 and above may be designated for a specific region after consultation with International Programs staff and based on the current list of projects in need of funding. All donations of less than $1000 will be used where the need is greatest at the time of receipt.
