Water For People depends on volunteers to fulfill much of its mission. Volunteers raise funds and spread the word about the desperate need for safe drinking water and improved sanitation in the developing world.

Water For People has more than 53 local volunteer committees across North America. These committees organize fundraising events, conduct outreach activities and make presentations, as well as generate media interest on behalf of Water For People.
